What is the message of this work?
"The Success Story is a song of personal victory and rematch. To all who were silenced or made feel that it is wrong to be who they really are. I grew up believing things about myself and portraying myself in a way that I did not recognise as true within me for a very long time until about 5 years ago, 4 before composing this song, a psychologist told me that the version of me with a peculiar situation of specific appearance and abilities that were not what people-pleasing would expect of me and that I always saw in myself as in my dreams... was never about "wishing" to be that, that was the real version of me which my mind had kept safely stored in the form of dreams. It took me about 5 years full of really hard moments since then, slowly working on myself inside out, progressively getting my self back, and maybe the work is still ongoing. But some of the hardest things I have experienced in these 5 years are loss, grief, and hurt and abandonment following the other person's witty behaviours framed as maturity or 'honesty'. To those people who tried taking away the most precious thing we have, our voice, and to everyone who willingly disappears and makes people suffer, I sang "I exist", I exist, you could just call, it's not always that hard, and in the end I actually exist, wow, if I actually exist as I thought it was a wish, then that challenge is not that hard anymore. I hope it brings inspiration and a smile to my fans too."
